Fire Safety
P36 complies to all fire safety rules, and are certified by official instances for this. This implies:
- The necessary smoke detectors (in all bed rooms and living areas) + in the bath rooms a CO detector.
- Large fire extinguisher available and indicated + fire blanket.
- Fire escape plan indicating the two obligatory fire exits.
- In the stair case all doors are fire certified doors (meaning they take longer to burn than a regular door)
Windows
In the apartment all windows can be tilted, to bring in fresh air, but cannot be opened fully, to prevent falling down. Only one window can be fully opened, the one in the kitchen that goes to the flat roof, and this for emergency exits only. All windows in the apartment, without exception, have a screen to prevent bugs flying inside.
In the loft, the windows are all of type Velux, and can be opened by turning the handle and opening it as far as you can reach. This also allows for a safety exit in case of a fire. Note that in the bath room of the lof the Velux can only tilt.
Theft and burglary protection
Our neighborhood is a safe neighborhood, where burglary is not common. But, better be safe than sorry!
Our house was built in 2018 with the latest techniques and materials, and hence has secure windows and doors.
- Our front door is a five-point-lock door which is very difficult to break into. The windows at the back (and front) are also as good as burglar proof.
- Furthermore a security camera is installed, aimed at the front door, as well as an autmatic light turning on when you are near that door.
Once inside:
- Each floor has a door with an pin code. The pin code for your apartment will be communicated up front or at arrival.
- Inside the apartment you will find a key to the front door. Each key has a tracker attached to it, so that we never lose a key that gives access to the house.
First Aid
In the apartments you will find a basic first aid kit for smaller injuries. We have more equipment/materials available if neccesary, and of course there are hospitals nearby if you need an emergency room or professional care:
