Check-out
Complete your check-out by 11AM
Make sure you have checked out by 11AM as latest. Don't keep the cleaning crew waiting. If you check out later than the check-out time of 11:00, it puts extra pressure on the cleaning crew to do their work properly. Thank you for respecting their time.
Leave the key(s), take your belongings
Leave the key(s) to the front door and possibly to the garage box in the apartment.
Make sure to have taken all your own belongings with you. Check the closets, under the beds, to not forget anything.
Take all your belongings. Don't take ours 😉
Clear out your things from the fridge too. We sometimes have to throw away quite a lot of food, which is a shame.
Clear away crockery and do the dishes
Clear the tables and counter tops of any plates, glasses, cups, cutlery,... food or drinks.
Do the dishes by hand or use the dish washer (not available in the loft). When using the dish washer, please rinse the dirtiest things first, the machine is not a magic tool 😉 Check if items are clean before putting them back in the cabinets.
Please try to put back all items in the cabinets where you found them. We appreciate the effort, but there's no need to rearrange the kitchen😄
Don't put dirty items back in the cabinets!
Sort your trash
When clearing out the apartment, please sort your trash to best effort and help recycling. See also the sorting guidelines.
You can leave the trash in the bins. We take care of it after your departure. If one of your trash bags is full, send us a message, so we can replace it for you.
Please put in the small effort to separate and sort your trash.
Cleaning
There is no need to vacuum or clean the kitchen or bath room. There will be a proper cleaning after you leave. However, we ask you to not leave behind a mess, but leave the place in a state as much as possible to the state that you found it at arrival. If it was a bit of a mess, please tidy up and clean a bit, so that the cleaning crew doesn't have to make extra hours to get everything spotless again.
Leave the place in a decent, respectable state.
Throw dirty towels in the hamper
Used towels and the bath mat can be thrown in the towel hamper in the bath room.
You don't need to pull off the sheets and pillow cases of the beds. If you DO want to help the cleaning crew by pulling off the used sheets, then make sure to leave on the protective matress covers and protective cushion covers.
Turn off lights, airco & close windows
Make sure you turned off lights, the airconditioning, and devices like the television.
Close the windows, in case it starts raining. Check that the fridge door is also closed before you leave.
